April 1, 2014 | WMFE, Orlando – A new report from the U.S. Census Bureau had some surprising news about Florida’s population growth: the fastest-growing metro area in the country is a retirement community in Central Florida. Economic analyst Hank Fishkind tells 90.7’s Nicole Creston that many areas across Florida made a strong showing in the Census report, and that population growth has significant economic impact statewide.
